Before embarking on your trip to the mountains there are obviously some precautionary measures you should take to make sure that you remain safe. It’s common sense really; make sure you tell someone where you’re going and what your plans are, and what date you intend to arrive and return, both at home and at your final destination.
You should also tell people who you’ll be traveling with and leave the car details with someone. That way you don’t just disappear into the ether... Then with all your bases covered you’ll be free to start packing for your road trip, a little bit more prepared.
